Hello, my name is Steve Powell. I am originally a Landscape Architect, owning Gledhill Nursery in West Hartford Connecticut with my family since 1976. We sold our business in 2016 and I continued designing landscapes. I have always had a desire to learn and create on my own. Just had a knack for “building and doing”. I worked on cars through my early years as a hobby. Eventually, I began showing my modified 1983 Camaro Z-28 at local car shows and winning awards, as well as a featured highlight and article in “Camaro World” publication.
My creativity lead to adventurous projects, such as my 400 square foot treehouse complex complete with electricity, wood burning stove, refrigerator, two ceiling fans, and a wide screen television. (I honestly don’t remember when I last slept in my regular house!)

I am also a sculpture artist working with wood, tile, and electronic lighting. Soon to sell my custom work in the near future.

I have a home workshop equipped with a lathe, milling machine, all types of welding equipment and much more. It lead me to a natural progression into designing and fabricating metal parts, tools, and fixing the broken this, that, and the other that friends and neighbors would ask for help to repair. Now I do it all professionally full time.
So, Do you have need for a specialized tool to be made? Fabricate custom structural parts? Got a repair to do? Can I make it? Can I fix it? Most likely, yes.

…..”If it’s good enough for me, It’ll be great for you!”
